Who Dares wins: Deus ex Machina founder set to sell up
They say lightning doesn't strike twice. But 15 years after he sold hip surfwear label Mambo, Dare Jennings is set to do it again with motochic Deus ex Machina.
The man who found a way to invent and then reinvent the concept of cool, Deus Ex Machina founder Dare Jennings, is in discussions with at least one private equity firm to sell the inner-west Sydney-based custom motorcycle company and clothing brand.
On the eve of its 10th birthday, Deus has advanced its sale negotiations with L-Capital, the private equity arm of LVMH Group, one of the world's largest luxury goods companies, Mr Jennings confirmed.
